The Kubu Queen

The Kubu Queen,
Is a river boat moored on the mainland near the town of Shakawe Botswana and operates on the Okavango River. It is easily accessible by tar road and Shakawe has a small international airport suitable for light aircraft.

The houseboat is moored at a different location each night. Two tender boats accompany the KubuQueen and these are used to explore the channels and lagoons in the area.
One of the world’s finest freshwater fighting fish inhabits these waters and guests have the opportunity to go out on the tender boats to try their hand at hooking into the mighty Tiger Fish.
Nature Walks can also be conducted on some of the larger islands found along the river.

Maximum 6 Guests accomodation on board. Up to 12 guests incorporating accomodation in bedded tents on islands (safari style).
